Swiss artist Barbara Signer explores the boundary between reality and imagination through installations and a variety of media. Born in St. Gallen in 1982, she studied Japanese Studies and gained extensive international experience in Japan, China, the United States, France, and Italy. She now returns to Sequerciani for her second residency.

Lettera dagli abissi is a theatrical performance loosely inspired by Jacques Piccard’s descent into the Mariana Trench. Through storytelling, music, images, and projections, the story of two generations of explorers becomes a reflection on the relationship between fathers and sons, distance, and the desire to get to know one another. Set inside a bathyscaphe, the performance takes the audience into the depths of the ocean and the abyss of human relationships. Suitable for all audiences.

A weekend of music, art, and the landscape, featuring the inauguration of PADDLE, the new sculpture by Swiss artist Roman Signer, and a live performance by Alexandre Joly with an ensemble of musicians.

Once again, we come together to mark the end of the grape harvest with a day of food, wine, and conviviality.
At the heart of this year’s celebration is a menu by Chef Marco Crippa for Paesìa, inspired by Sequerciani's philosophy and landscape, and paired with wines from the estate. The day will also include tastings, guided winery tours, a DJ set, and live music.

Japanese artist Hitomi Usui works primarily with wood, exploring the relationship between humans and nature. Her practice imagines a hypothetical “Age of Wood” and reflects on the value of manual labor as a way to understand non-human otherness.
